I have been practicing as a Mental Health Counselor since 2013. I received my bachelor's degree with a major in Psychology and a minor in Sociology from Loyola University Maryland, and attended Boston College for my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling.

I first became interested in psychology as a career while in college, where I enjoyed the intersection of science and philosophy in the field. In my current practice, I continue to emphasize evidenced-based interventions, while acknowledging the complex and abstract nature of our experiences.

After graduating, I taught English in Thailand where I was inspired by travel and experienced the universality of mental health needs. Since then, I have worked in an inpatient substance abuse recovery center, several community mental health centers, and a private group practice.

Through these experiences, I have found that I am most adept at treating issues related to self-esteem and anxiety. I also have diverse experience treating problems related to relationship issues, challenging family dynamics, life transitions, and career concerns. No issue is too small to begin to process in therapy. I believe that everyone can benefit from therapy because when feelings go unchecked they can have a wide-ranging impact; they can impair our relationships, work life, and physical health.

I have taken several post-graduate trainings and continue to attend trainings to further develop my clinical skills.
